Carver Christmas
Program

On Wednesday, December 17, 2003,
Carver held its Christmas program. The program included
performances by Mrs. Nazaroff's 5th grade class who sang,
"Santa Claus is coming to Town," and Ms. Meza's
5th/6th grade class who sang "Children Go Where I Send
Thee".
In addition, students involved in
the after school program were able to showcase the different
skills that they have learned. The students from Mrs.
Durfee's Spanish class along with Mrs. Sidhu's 5th/6th grade
class sang "Jingle Bells" in English and in
Spanish. The students from the Modeling class performed to
a Hip Hop Winter Wonderland. The Leadership class took a
moment to recognize several International Winter Holidays
including Posadas, Ramadan, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas and
Hmong New Year.
There were various dance routines
performed by the Kali Hmong Girl Dancers, The Carver Cuties, The
Latina Girls and Ms. Cyprian's 8th Grade Class. The
Fighting Eagle Stomp Team also performed and the Video
Production Class entertained the audience with a comical short
movie, and the Drama Class performed "The
Commercial." A good time was had by all who attended!
